Faith Lutheran Church, through the work of the Holy Spirit, empowers its people to be disciples of Jesus Christ, proclaim the gospel and witness Christ's love to all people. We are part of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod - a confessional Lutheran church with more than 6,000 congregations and about 2 million members in North America.
As Lutherans, we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. It teaches that God the Father created the world and still cares for it. Although we are dead in sin and unable to do anything to save ourselves, by His death on the cross Jesus paid the full ransom price to free us from sin and eternal death. The Holy Spirit brings us to faith in Jesus and empowers us to live as His people.
Please join us Sundays at 9:00 a.m. for Sunday School and Adult Bible Study, followed by Worship at 10:15 a.m.
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Adam Ellison
Pastor Adam Ellison’s ministry at Faith Lutheran Church is deeply rooted in our community, having grown up just west of Oklahoma City. When the congregation faced a pastoral vacancy in 2019, he stepped forward as our sole church elder to fill the pulpit and care for the flock. Recognizing his leadership and gifts for ministry, the congregation inducted him as our vicar in 2020 while he began formal seminary education. Through the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) program, he was officially ordained and installed as our Pastor in January 2023.
His ministry is guided by Matthew 9:36: “When [Jesus] saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Having stepped up to shepherd Faith Lutheran during a time of need, Pastor Ellison is dedicated to ensuring that every person who walks through our doors experiences that same compassion, care, and love of Christ.
